windows 7 compatablity

my vista computer has died:pop4:!
i am thinking of getting a new one with 3Ghz processor and 3GB RAM, but it is on windows 7 64 bit,
will CFS3 work!!!!

YES!

But I'd get more memory than that if you're going to run a 64-bit system.

Agree with Hairyspin, Shop around and try to find one with more memory at least 6 or 8 on a new rig to start out with , and you can always add more if you want, and when you do get it just read over the Windows 7 install fix for CFS3

will it definatley work, cos my fried had problems with his win 7, something about 'fshaders not compatible', then CFS3 just ran but realy jerky........

It works fine, the fix mentioned in the post below may be required on some Win 7/64 systems, mine works fine until I did a patch then I had to apply the fix. I also agree about the memory for 64 bit and gaming 4 gig of ram should be min, 6 is better and 8 is very good. I wnet to 12 gig, and I did not notice must improvement over 8 but with my Video Editing Software it makes a difference, just not much for games.

my friend isn't that competent with computers! tried to get him to join SOH, but he's a bit scared of the internet....
 
I upgraded to win7 32bits some two months ago the only thing that I was not able to use is my old OFF2 game and missions, the OFF3 game work fine though.
 
Recently tried runnig some of the MB missions; I cant get them to start the moment I hit the fly button the ship sinks nose first.
