Windshield Streaks Nord Noratlas

Yes, I hope this addressed in a patch.Very distracting and completely unnecessary on such a superb model. I also hope they will revise the engine sounds, which are a bit jarring when the throttles are bought all the way back. And internal views of the cockpit sunshade curtains please. Its an excellent model, and deserves the enhancements after all the work thats been done.

Now that you mentioned it, I too hope that the sound issued is fixed. It is a quality made add on and it reminds me of the C119 a little. Very well thought out and put together.
After viewing real Noratlas via youtube, It sounds a little like a DC-3 (a little) and some other aircraft engine sound; can't quite place it. :engel016:

The Noratlas author has just released a patch that contents it!

Thats a list of aircraft with the same engines.... be careful, because a number of those aircraft only had a few 'test' variants with Bristol Hercules engines... not mainstream production like the lanc... which the vast vast majority ran on Merlins.

I know, it's like English isn't his first language or something...

Looks like the mapping is messed up to me, but you keep sniffing the monitor.
 
I think the intention was perhaps to replicate the scratched windows of a veteran aircraft

The update seems to remove the windows altogether, I think I would rather have the scratches and reflections.

I think I "discovered" this engine listing over at:

I researched some of them and they are a bit different in sound and specifics as far as engine types go.

i.e. some of them are in the right church but wrong pew and some are just in the wrong church.

I went and sample each sound file for the noratlas and they sound OK individually but like someone said on this thread when you throttle back;
it sounds a bit strange. Can't simulate wierd throttle back sound playing each sound.
 
The sound to these are like music , trouble is many hated the noise .... course this was after buying property close to the airport :pop4: don't figure ..
