Wing Commander Piotr Laguna's Spitfire Mk.IIB

Hi all,

I have just uploaded a standalone of the SJ Spitfire Mk.IIB - P8331, coded RF-M of No. 303 Squadron. This one has a special purpose. Not long after the Spitfire Mk.II was uploaded, I posted some screenshots in a Spitfire facebook group where I had done some research while working on the project. Scott Booth, the director of Laguna's Spitfire Legacy mentioned that he would love to see one painted as P8331 flown by Piotr Laguna. For those not familiar with it, Laguna's Spitfire Legacy is a UK-based non-profit focused on encouraging interest in, and educating about RAF aircrew during WWII, with a specific focus on Wing Commander Piotr Laguna, leader of the Polish Wing, and his aircraft, Spitfire Mk.IIB P8331. As usual, John was happy to do the painting. I have sent a few screenshots back to Scott depicting Piotr's last flight in P8331, in which he was shot down by flak and killed while leading the Polish wing in a strafing attack on airfields near Calais. He hopes to use these as part of the traveling display, so if you're in the UK you may run into them at an airshow. He also forwarded them to Piotr's surviving family, including his son, and they were apparently quite well received and happy to have them. This is a repaint of Steve Seybolt's Spitfire Mk.IIB by John Whelan. You must have the main Spitfire Mk.II package installed for this aircraft to work.
