Wings over the reich

Great news ! Guess i need to get my new gaming rig done to get this. Hope it is as good as WOFF. If so it will be at the top of the list to get.

They have a website up, no content yet, but hopefully soon: http://www.wingsoverthereich.com/
I expect it to be really, really good. It will probably be a while before it has the variety of content we are used to, but what is there I anticipate being top notch.

If they run it slightly differently from WOFF so that you can add existing aircraft - it will be wildly popular.

Please pretty please WM Polovski et al, take note!!

Its all very well having a narrow set of standards but I am sure there are a hell of a lot of people who will buy Wings over the Reich if they could suddenly fly existing myriad of interesting aircraft on a new-feeling platform.

I see their way of doing it, and I doubt it will change. I think we'll just have two parallel tracks to appreciate - the wider one with all our community has done over 15 years and the resultant huge variety of hundreds of aircraft, and a narrower, deeper one in WOTR where they have the capability to add immersive new features we can only dream of.

Like Il-2 '46 and the tons of mods there is no equal in the series that followed. The same for CFS3.No one game can cover what has been done so far and for free to boot. Their business model has worked in the past and sure it will stay the same. Like WWI stuff but really into WWII.
