ok... some of you may recall a while back i started work on my local Farm strip; Charity Farm/Baxterley.... a major step came last night as i got the ground poly in... here's the first image (Have yet to move it a few hundred metres so it's out the way of the darned power lines, nearly found them things myself real world in the past), it's not a large field, in fact for scale by the hangar is a Luscombe or similar.... also of note is the dogleg runway, real world procedure dictates you run your engine up, release the brakes (if available) get to the bend and almost quite literally boot the rudder.... another hazard is EGBB around 5-8nm away, you're only 500m outside it's control zone, so best bet to avoid having to contact them... take off, turn downwind (while staying under EGBBs control zone) exit control zone then pick up height... on a windy day.... best bet on arrival to Baxterley.... crab it as much as possible.... there be a tree within 30ft of your wingtip on arrival.... all in all a favourite place of mine real world, being done for FS
and yes, in top down view that is a Cessna 182 oriented North on the Runway, allows you to spot the hazards....
