I thought I'd add something relative to the thread. Some Typhoon enthusiasts will already be familiar with this group who's restoring a Typhoon to flyable condition here in BC. For others who'd like to lean in and have a look, here's the site:

They have a facebook page that updates every other day or so, and often features great photo images from WW2 that I've never seen before. A bonus, these folks have recently scored a Napier Sabre engine in relatively good condition. Interesting stuff to follow as it all comes together.

Edit: Just now, poking about their site, I've decided that you get a lot more interesting material from the facebook page, including wartime service logs in constant update.

MAGIC! I luv the Tiffie.

A real brute of a machine. Nothing sweet about it, compared to pilots transitioning from Hurricanes or (especially) Spitfires. Many a pilot felt real concern in their first few flights in this beast. But most came to love it for it's strength and speed.

Even if it is an interesting design the MB 5 is kind of not even an side note in the aviation history (just one prototype build). I very much doubt it has much sales potential for a payware model.

I'm very much looking forward to the Typhoon, we have missed a good FS model for a long time and the model looks superb from the screenshots!

In the 1th of April bazzar will write - "we decided after many questions to add TacPack function to our addons" .
If They account how many questions was about TP in AH products and each cost 1$ They would be more rich ;>.
