WIP: IRIS C-27J Spartan

I really enjoy it when devs purchase premade mesh. We see products out a lot faster and in greater quantity. It also seems we're seeing better quality sometimes.

Excellent choice of subject. I'm sure it'll be very popular.

Me too, I have to admit I wasn't aware of the aircraft or the variety of customers until I did some research, however it's really grown on me quite quickly. It's a stunning little plane, and one that you MIGHT even see in FS9.. :)

Well, great aircraft to model and thanks for modelling it. cant wait for Dec. 25!

C-27j

Excellent choice of subject.
I was assigned to the 46th Air Brigade of Italian Air Force, Pisa San Giusto airport and I had the chance to see the G222 and the C27 several times, during everyday operations and airshows. The Mini-Herc is incredibly agile and its demo routine is impressive.

Okay, here's how she looks today, The last two days were spent texture mapping the aircraft, both inside and out.. :)

Today will be spent trying to figure out why none of my rotational animations are working, and applying the master texture set to the aircraft.

It's looking great. I suspect it should prove to be quite popular. I'm willing to bet it will end up on my must buy list. :)

It's not a matter of working fast, it's a matter of not sleeping.. :D Ask any developer and they'll say the dev diet consists of coffee, chocolate and valium... :)

valium??! that's for afterwards when the customers start to complain the nose is wrong or the color is off, LOL.
Myself, I prefer Mountain Dew over coffee, YEECH!

it's looking good, can't wait to see the final textures. :ernae:

I'm currently collapsing all the damn animation controllers which were set up as linear rotation controllers to the normal controllers that FSX likes... geez... 2 hours fiddling and trolling the net for something that takes about 10 minutes to fix! lol.

I must admit I'm more partial to Redbull, leftover pizza and optrex if I'm pulling an all nighter. :jump:

Thanks for the pics. It's interesting to see all those polygons.

Does anyone now what the rails are for near the tail. It looks like it has roof racks :icon_lol:.

Aaaaand the first few tins of Dulux weathershield get thrown on the plane.. :) Just done the left wing so far... maaan, so many fun times ahead! lol.
