WIP repaints

I'm by far not as good as Jens, Zsolt or many others here but I'm trying to fill my own requests for paints I want.

Here is the first for today.

F-16F Desert Falcon of the UAEAF. I know the IRIS model isnt a Block 60, but the Polish Air Force CFT model and paint were an easy start. Again, WIP.

A repaint of the Caranedo C208B. This aircraft was flown in support of Special Operations forces in Afghanistan.

Looking good!

The Iris CFT F-16D is a good stand in for the Blk 60. I have always liked the look of the F-16 with CFT's, looks very aggressive.

The only problem is that we don have the big spine F-16D without the CFTs. Thats a problem for many modern D repaints as Oman etc.

They look great STORM! Is the USAF Test Pilot School F-16D VISTA on your shortlist?:icon_lol:

Sadly no. One for the reason Jens mentioned and the second, it's still just beyond my capabilities. I'm still crawling ;)

But I do have others OTW. Stay tuned.

Jens, thanks for the comments. The PAF jet was the best choice. I just wish it had the short tail and it would be even closer. Only the test LM model has that, but it also has the long instrument nose pitot/probe.
