Looking good

John,

You make the mediocre special. :medals: The Brit version was my request. There are two standalone versions. A 5 and 5a, both with ASV radar aerials. I may make a clean one but we'll see.

The flightmodels are some of my best (which may not be that good!:icon_lol:) The 5a takes off from the water with two mk13's without much ado. Have not tried her with two 1000lbs but will. She lifts off at 65 -70 mph cruises at 107 with 50% throttle at 1900-2000 rpm.

I will make her as framerate friendly as possible. There is a lot of detail in the pit and waist stations and with the 3d gauges it is a hog. I plan on having a fully detailed model at lod 100 and lod 90 with a significant pruning so you can have more than one in the air:isadizzy:. This means sliders at 5 for airplane detail. Semester starts this week so don't hold your breath as I still need to finalize the damage and break aways.

Sink the Bismark, Midway, patrolling the Bay of Biscay and Mediterranean ah the options are appealing!! :icon29:

:salute:airspace quite crowded in the bay.......horrido!!!
maby the 115 gets done.....sorta to even out the score....meanwhile its he 111 tyme...

cheers m8

awesome looking work - will gladly have it in my hangar alongside the FSX Aerosoft Cat (though hopefully a bit easier to fly than the FSX version).

cheers

Snafu snatcher

I'm happy to see this plane as the pilot to be rescued could be, your paint works and your models are greatfulls examples for everybody.

CFS3 FFD - Alain95. :applause:

Good chance you'll see a Snafu Snatcher skin!

At the moment I'm sorting the amphibian out, here's a CC skin, Jeff might like this one?:icon_lol: Some of you may of had the Airfix kit, I did!

Jeff certainly does like it, and yes I did have the Airfix kit (and the Sundrland too). I see it's one of the rare RAF amphibs.

Looking more like the one based at Duxford iirc, she flew directly over our campsite last summer and fairly cheered up the soggy memory of the previous day.

Always think those amphibs look so much more interesting although all those different angled surfaces most be hell to model.
