I think it was because of the smaller size of the elevators!

IIRC the wings were clipped by the Fleet Air Arm to cure 'floating' on landing approaches to carriers: the Corsair was not a suitable aircraft for carrier ops until then.

Kat, I just bought the Tacpack for the Aerosoft F-14 today and I'm astounded by the new level of realism and fun it brings.I would love to drop bombs on Rabaul with your upcoming Corsair and am really hoping to see Tacpack integrated.
