• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Thanks for the positive response. I was nervous as hell. It may not seem like it, but when you start counting how many times I was blinking.... Anyways, I hope it takes off between videos. It might be the glue I need to get some of my fans to subscribe, as well as watch some of my other material... I HOPE.

Nice talent you have Cody and thanks for sharing with us. I hope some day I can make some quality FSX video's but no time for me right now. I did try to make a video about a month ago, downloaded the free version of fraps and away I went. Added the song "leaving on a jet plane" OUCH or should I say Double OUCH!!!!! Found out it is very time consuming but fun and like you said you really need to dig around to find the proper views and get the right shots to make the peice work. My first Video should I say sucked and it departed when my computer craped out so I will not miss it but it did give me a peek into making Tube video's with the computer. Again, nice job on yours and wish you all the success in the business.

Thanks Jim. My first videos (you saw part of one in this video) were quite sad, and with no formal training, all I had was some ideas, FRAPS and the will to blunder through Windows Movie Maker. There are some that have a unique talent to start making good videos, but they are few and far between.

Feel free to share the video friend. It would be nice to get others involved with this new venture.

thing is 99% of the f14 movies with that awfull song arnt of any remembrable qulitly :icon_lol: :engel016:
 
Well, there isn't any imagination put into it. I will be the first to admit that the movie itself had some merit. What is interesting however is that to me, I find it is simply nothing more than mimicking... Why wouldn't I just want to watch the original, rather than a knock off?

Ok, I digress. If one could capture the original spirit of such a movie in Flight Simulator, it could be be good... but most that go down that route do not serve it it's proper justice.

Simple! Place your brain in a jar, get FRAPS, then hit A from the VC until you see the wing and start filming mate!

When you are done, DON'T send the video to me!
