This is a joint work between the two of us. It's mine to finish at this point. I'll be gone for the next three weeks and can't do further work on the plane until I return. Still a lot left to finish it, but I thought a teaser might be interesting to you all for the time being.

A Luftwaffe runabout, the classic Messerschmitt Me108 Taifun.

Looks great Kurt - the surfaces are so smooth. I've only recently figured out the best way to do that in Blender (doesn't export without high polly count). A thousand questions but for another time.

Have the best frigg'en break ever,
Mike

Didn't James Garner ,steal one of these in the Great Escape?
It was a Bucker Bestmann, that aircraft looks very close to the ME108 but was only a two seat trainer. :)

Last year I found a few Projects that I thought they were gone by a hard drive crash.
This is the first one, and it is good to see that it is coming to a good end. I still have to look into the other files, but not before April.

By the way, for me there are only 18 days of work left, before I retire on the 1st of April:)

Hi Wolfi,
since february 2022 I am retired now -and things have been developed a bit other than I dreamt about. When I worked in munich I lived alone in my or some times my wife came to visit me for two or three weeks.
The last ten years I had a good job in a bunker of the te bank beeing one of the responsables for the security. We had a fine crew and the working time was regular. So I had fixed time for work, apartment cleaning and than just for me.
Now I live in Brittany, with wife, son and and animals - the whole catastrophy as said Anthony Quin in Zorbas the Greek.
and quiet less time for flightsim. And one problem and stress followed the other.
I really hope it will be better for you!!!!
Best regards
Yours
Michael
