Yep, I believe Naki's right. The Eureka's were Oz built kit cars from the seventies. VW Beetle based!

In England they were known as Nova's, which is what their original creators named them, and in America, they were contracted under 'Sterling' before Rover Cars got that name.
I was blessed enough to have one when I was young. What a blast that thing was. It could turn like you just cannot believe.
Their design shared some of the prototype Corvette of that era (I forget which one) as well as the Lamborghini Miura, and perhaps just a touch of the Bertone Aztec.
The main body was incredibly strong, made of inner subsections of inches of roving-woven fiberglass. It was a tank. You would probably bounce off of other cars, though fiberglass is known to shatter. Mine was like a boat hull, it was that well laid.
I found these last night on Flickr.com and figured Wozza must see them.
