Robert Bruce's Bristol Fighter (with an Eagleskinner repaint - this one of two that reside in NZ) and the Neoqb Fokker Triplane over Omaka.

Omaka is the home of one of the best WW1 aircaft museum in the world (founded by Peter Jackson the movie director)..most of the WW1 aircaft that reside here are flyable and many are original..one year at the biannual airshow that is hald at Omaka they had 7 Triplanes in the air at once - this year was the debut of an orginal Avro 504K and Be-2f.

Peter Jackson also has a replica WW1 factory that is currently producing SE-5A and FE-2b replicas amongst others.

Does anybody know of any other nice freeware WW1 aircraft for FSX?

Paul , we must get a multiplay WWI dogfight up and running , i give ya a tap when pcs up and running , Great Screens :applause:

I have a copy of Aeroplane magazine from May 09 lying around, which has coverage of the "Fee" project.
Jackson had two F.E.2b's built, since they learned everything in the first build it seemed like a good idea!
It has one of the best A2A centrefolds I've ever seen, one of the Pfalzes dogfighting the Fee , gunner standing up in the nose.

WWI is not something I've spent too much time on - aren't there dozens of FS9 models though?

Yes a multiplay in WW1 would be good idea ..another idea would be to get the Zlins out.

Yeah that Fee (and the Fee is surpisingly big) picture is great Charl - the gunner doesnt have a seat so he has to stand up all the time ..must be a weird feeling standing up in front of the aircraft especially in landing and take off..FS9 does have a lot of nice WW1 aircraft but Omaka just looks a bit btter in FSX (but that is about it for my FSX scenery though) and Omaka suits WW1 aircraft..you should try the Neoqb Triplane in FSX ..its amazing
