Martin mariner , Ive no idea if the smaller portholes could be replaced with larger ones, with more bracing/reinforcing for structural strengthening ? the galley is there already, just update it. power inverters with some additional batteries, charged off the engines, maybe put some PT6-something big lol, a flight crew, to fly it, or maybe a chief pilot with lil ole me as a co-pilot, a travel buddy copilot as well? OR, the copilot being a certified mechanic? yeah good idea, wonder how big the bow turret area really is? remove the rotational equipment, and have side by side seating, maybe 2 rows deep, second row a heads height higher? top turret redesigned for two side by side, but still rotate, tail position, again maybe side by side seating? a master bedroom, with en suite head, a half bath somewhere? bunk beds with a small en suite, make it be a "wetbath" for space? or find room for a double bed it pilot/copilot are a couple. where ever the larger windows are, be a saloon. just thought of something, could it be rigged with retractable landing gear? maybe just start of scratch... sigh...

Subsection? If possible to make one within a thread. I've no idea how I would edit the original thread title to just start with "Daydream aircraft for personal A/C", with a subsection saying, if you were to design an A/C for personal use, as a would traveler, or a camper "RV", its a vehicle and to be used recreationally, lol.

Sub-threads aren't possible, but this thread is a great idea. I have long daydreamt of a modified Catalina or Albatross as a flying/floating camper. I would prefer something with wheels though, since it would make finding fuel easier if I could land at an airport and get the higher quality go-juice.
