Just found out today this gentlemen lives in the same retirment home my in laws live. He is 96 years old and doing a book signing on Febuary 28 in the retirment home....how cool is that. Although I will be on Grandpa duty I will try to get my wife to attend book signing as well as listen to him as he shares his story. I am at the retirment home three days a week so will look out for this fella. This makes me kind of Happy :biggrin-new:!

Huge showing of support for this event! From the young to the old and veterans from all wars represented except WWI. Everyone honored including the support back home who worked in the factories. peace keeping as well as the families who held the home front together. The book signing event also was part of a fund raising campaign for taking care of families who have and had loved ones at war to help them out. It was great to talk with him a bit and also told him thanks for his service. I hope to see him again walking the hallways of the retirement home and ask if he has ever used FSX. Who know, I might be able to get him back in his old plane. We will see. One of the photos show my mother and father in law.
