Just found this out from the main Egosoft.com website;


Terran Conflict 2.0 Now Available for Mac OS


Egosoft is pleased to announce the release of X3: Terran Conflict 2.0 for the Mac OS X operating system. This version of the game has been developed for OS X by Virtual Programming Ltd, a specialist software developer for the Mac platform. Mr Mark Hinton, the VP Ltd CEO and Director of New Business, stated that every effort has been made to make sure that their customers have a gameplay experience on the Mac platform as close as possible to that on the PC which, with Terran Conflict, has been quite a challenge....

That is the version I just got! It has a XP/Vista version as well :engel016:
 
Darn. I wish I had known it was dual version.

I see this as being as good as flight simulator. That it will run in OSX is awesome...!

Bill I thought of you as soon as I got the eMail from Ergosoft, I was going to try and forward it to you but I ended you packing computer stuff all day for the road trip. I guess there was no need anyway. It will be interesting to see if there is a difference in graphics or performance, you have to let us know how it looks and plays.

Hey Mike,

Roger that. Will do.

I did attempt to load it in my little laptop to see how it would run. Very poorly, lol.. arrgh. It does run. I may play around with the resolutions and see if I can improve it.

I am sure it will run fine on my iMac 24" as I run it on that in WinXP mode just fine. I am just curious to see how it will do in OSX. OSX has all 4 gigs running in RAM, not 3 like XP does. I think OSX is a faster performing OS as well, so it should be interesting.
