XP on Dell Studio XPS 8100?

Part of my ongoing attempt to dual boot XP on my Windows 7 machine, new question: will XP load on a Dell Studio XPS 8100? I ask as some seem to have had difficulty, mainly in locating the neccessary XP compatible drivers. Has anybody done this? If so, where do you find the drivers? I seem to have found some, but not all.

Here is my system:

Dell Studio XPS 8100
Processor: Intel Core i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93GHz
RAM: 8GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTS 240 w 1GB GDDR3 Dedicated Video Memory

Thanks for any help.

Daniel

Very kind of Dell... you might try this thread for some pointers. Quite a can of worms, but it seems others have found a way. :mix-smi:

Good find! Thanks. I'll just have to run down all the manufacturers I guess and hope I don't miss any.:icon_eek: Dell Tech Support had little more to say than that the XPS 8100 was not intended for windows xp and they don't support it...gee thanks guys...:isadizzy:

Thanks again.
