Yahoo! New L-39 Owner!

What a great model! I still have a lot to explore on it, but so far I am very pleased. The first surprise for me was in the manual. N139CK is owned by Dr. Charles (Chuck) Kerber, and it is locally based. I met Chuck once, and my dad has done assorted sheet metal work on that bird. He even managed to get a ride in it!

I am looking forward to exploring this plane & all of it's features. I see things in the model already that have me thinking about my project...

Well Done, Lotus Sim! :salute:

Thanks mate, glad you like it. Chuck is a fantastic guy and was really generous with his time in helping me fine tune the handling and performance, and showed a heck of a lot of patience with me by answering about two million systems questions, hehe. Although he sold N139CK a couple years ago he still flies L-39s pretty regularly.

Cheers!

-Mike
