The Yakovlev Yak-9 was a development of the robust and successful Yak-7B fighter, which was based in turn on the tandem-seat advanced trainer known as the Yak-7UTI.

Thanks for another nice Russian aircraft. I still think that you should build the YAK-3 and 7.

I did download the Yak-3. I was going to type Yak-5, then I found out that it is not a fighter aircraft. The Yak-7 is quite similar to the Yak-1, 3, and 9. You already have most of the parts for that aircraft. Thanks!
