Thanks. Have more coming up.Eventually will get my CVE campaign finished but most of missions became corrupted and just have not had the interest in redoing them lately, so turned to various other missions needed to finish up and release.
 
Thank you for sharing this mission. The French ace Pierre Clostermann wrote a book about crucial missions of WW2, including this one. Ever since reading it, I have wanted to fly this mission, and now you have made it possible. Thanks a lot.

Not a problem, that is why I created the missions, always wanted to fly them myself.Let me know how they play out for you.

I'm not sure, I had 40 missions completed for phase 1 of campaign(saipan invasion), was going to do a few to cover Guam and Tinian and then release.I went to load one up and it wouldnt load, said something about corrupted file.Tried to load another, same message.Roughly 30 of missions were same and not a clue what happened.One guess is night before I had an issue when was testing with planes not starting in correct takeoff position on a CVE, just that particular one.So I made changes to the CFG to correct and then was done for the night.I tried to test next day and files were corrupted. The CVE in question was no in the game in 10 missions which is why I guess the 30 were corrupted.I tried fixing them but no luck so scrapped them all, will start up again soon.Won't take as long since I know how want things to flow now.

It stinks that you had to scrap all of those missions, but you also did a great job on the Yamamoto ones. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Thanks.Which version of the US mission did you fly? Or all? Just curious how and if people enjoy navigating without the TD like I do. Were results satisfactory? I tested them all various times and of course each time went a little different but usually had a historically accurate conclusion.lol in the IJN mission I did make it through flying Yamamoto's plan since 38's shot down Ugakis but while I was near Ballale a P-38 that apparently followed me but I did not see shot me down while my I was on approach, gear and flaps down lol Fired tail gun at time and made his right engine smoke but was too late for me.

Did test the music player I added? How did your fuel situation play out in the 38?

It is nice to see that a new mission builder has joined here! I'll fly the Yamamoto missions one of these days! I like the fact that you also did the Japanese side!

About your corrupted missions: Are other missions in the same install of rhe sim still working, or is the whole install corrupted?

A while ago I also had the problem of missions suddenly not working anymore, with messages about corrupted files. (don't remember exactly what the messages were, this happened several months ago)
It turned out that the problems were caused by too many objects in the Objects_DP folder. I deleted a number of files from this folder, mostly CFS1 objects and stock weapons that I don't use anyhow, and suddenly everything was back to normal.

So if you recently added some new objects, maybe that's the cause?
Just an idea I had reading your post, but maybe..
