started this P-40E last week and it's moving along nicely!
stole parts from my P-36 Hawk vc for now but will build some new pieces this week.
also a new start up flame effect.

and Lewis, it hasn't been a full 7 days yet but yea.
I have become quite fast at building these things!
the wings, etc. are extruded or booleaned and NOT just placed through the model.
the vc is going to take some time like always.
 
any help on finding "preeze" gatling guns....your stuff, always worth looking at, was part of a "tipping pack" and the guns were broken linked here thanks.....gaw

well a 3 day weekend helped!
the vc is gonna be tough.
I have a few pics and I'm really going to have to use IL-2 for a better idea of what it looks like.
maybe it won't be as bad as I expect it to be.

Looking great already!

Whatever else, don't take the IL-2 (or MAW - they're the same) skins layout - they are badly distended. If I remember, the wing span needed to be increased by some 12% compared to chord, which made it difficult to paint. Just thinking aloud...

P.S I have a book on the P40s that you may find handy, already have it on my hard drive if you want me to e-mail it to you. Looks to have everything you would need in it mate. Either way let me know mate.

I'm still stuck with dial up so emailing pix can be a pain but cockpit shots are needed!
I hate dial up!!
