• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Something squirely going on here. . .I don't have the ability to attach files and some of the links across the top are dead (User CP, FAQ, etc). I can click on some of the others, but they don't do anything. I've already rebooted several times but no change so far.
 
Yep, something has happened just in the past few hours. It wasn't doing this earlier this morning, but even logging out and then back in changes nothing. I even deleted about 7 pages of images, thinking maybe I had overloaded the system, but that made no difference either.
 
This is all that's showing where there would normally be the ability to "manage attachments": Attach Files Valid file extensions: bmp gif jpe jpeg jpg kmz pdf png txt zip That's it. . .wonder what is going on? . . .just noticed, I can't access the "smilies" either. . .they're there, but if I click on any of them. . .nothing.

If you've got a "short" tower that would be good as in reality it's about 20' high and the main building has that kind of zig zag roof, like upside down "V"s...but if that doesn't exist in the object library then no problems..it's already a million times better than the default Avro's Woodford:engel016::ernae:
 
You can see the static display Vulcan in this image. It's a real shame that the factory where Lancasters, Ansons, Vulcans and Nimrods were made is to be shut down in 3 years time!

Seriously? Shut down? That is a shame Roger, some real history there to be sure. So all the larger building around the perimeter are basically aircraft factories?
 
Yep it is a shame Ed. Been going to that airfield for 50 years, to airshows, model aircraft displays and just nosying around. I remember as a kid finding some scrap TR series radar units...the ones that were disguised to look like conventional T/R sets on Lancs.
Anyway the surrounding buildings are factories rather than conventional hangars. You'll be preserving a piece of British aviation history and I thank you for it.:engel016:
