If there was a Sopwith Camel, or some other WWI bird with a rotary engine, that correctly modeled a Gnome or leRhone rotary correctly, blip-switch and all.

Just some late night thinking, throwing it out there.

hope this helps...

David Eckert's: SG Snipe.
You'll find it at Simviation and I think, Flightsim.com

It's got a lovely working rotary and flies like a...Snipe!
No blip switch (if memory serves me) but a very nice model none the less. Some good paints too.
Go get one!

Gentlemen, I stand corrected:isadizzy:...and sincere apologies to Stuart Green!

It must be that conspiracy thing again...men in white coats, uhum. They're coming to take me away haha...:applause:

When it comes to WWI aircraft, Stuart's Fokker D.VII gets the nod here. And there's a ton of excellent repaints for it here from Cazzie and Huub.

Check out the Nieuport 17 by these fellows. No blip switch, but a *** to fly. My kind of plane.

Both Stuart's and Dave's rotary engines rotate. On my CH Throttle Quad, lifting the rightmost flip switch will stop the ignition until I release it. Pressing the switch down gives Ctrl-e, for those occasions when I am almost reduced to reading the instructions. Setup is through a licenced FSUIPC.
