• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The list is perfect and I either fit, resemble, agree with or been there done that in everyone of them. I can't think of a one of the bunch that's actually off base or not true. :)

Born here with 50 of my 55 years on one coast or the other of this state and my family on both sides goes back at least 4 or 5+ generations living here.

Offical "Flip Flops" are not the $40 or $50 styles we where these days. True "Flip Flops" are the ones you used to buy at the 5 & 10 Cent Stores for 69 cents. :)

I enjoyed all the pictures!

Florida is a beautiful state, however, I would not want to live there permanently. I love my 4 seasons too much. To me, Florida is a "vacation spot". I love going there, but I love coming back home even more.
The humidity, the bugs, the reptiles, etc. All would get the best of me! LOL! Eeek! I see a darn garter snake and I can run for miles...although, for the record, I'm not scared of spiders. When my husband sees one in the house, he comes to get me. LOL! He can't stand spiders....
Anyways, back to the main topic: I love flip flops, and I have several pairs ranging from the 0.99 cents pair to more expensive ones. It's not Summer without flip flops and banana popsicles.

The baby in the pool was so darn cute!!
