Your favorite port-overs...

No, not that Iam aware of, on the Fw190D fix. I just copied the ac folders from FS9. Also copied the gauges and the handful of textures in the FS9 texture folder into each ac folder. Has the usual prop, not too bad, and glass issues. One other thing, a couple of gauges would not show in FSX. Go into the panel cfg's and change the negative gauge position numbers to 0.

Nice thread as I continue to add to my FSX hangar since converting from FS9. Still a big fan of Piglet's models, and have his portovers (a few thanks to this site).

Joe Binka FS2K2 Cessna 195 "Shakey Jake"

Virtavia/Alphasim FS9 Phantoms
I3D FS2K2 B-1B Lancer

Those 5 top my list of the many I have, but, I am prejudiced. The F-86 is the only one I didn't port myself.
The numerous Piglet, Shupe, Jahn, etc. planes I have, all reside in both FS9 and FSX. With very few mods necessary, I might add...Don

I tend to avoid port over props and helo's. Though I've made exceptions for Oliver Fischer's Jungmann + Junkers Ju-52 and Simshed's Wessex helo.

Here's some more screenshots:

Can someone post the fixes for the Ansaldo...always like this one in FS9

Here is one I've been dying to fly in FSX and finally got the plane itself flyinf with now issues....the VC has some gauge issues but maybe we can have some one fix that for us....

Roger,

Do you know if updates of the glass and props were ever uploaded anywhere for Oliver's JU-52?

Yes but I cant remember where. I made replacements myself which I still have somewhere.

Port-over, port-overs and port-overs..............................

Most models or converted models) by Manule Villa work without problems in FSX

The GC Bf110 show their age, but work quite nicely in FSX

Our own Cazzie made Stuart Green's Fokker D.VII usable in FSX

One of my favourite aircraft in any sim..... (Gilles Faulmeyer's Caudron 460)

hes being a tease, it was a beta that isnt gonna be released, which is a shame as it looked fantastic, as did the other fokker that the same guy was doing! :crybaby:

Don't know Stiz, I'm currently re-doing the textures. When they are finished I'm planning make the beta available as it is. Michel Migaud, the man who made the model seems to have vaporised. Even the guys from Restauravia have been able to reach him.

Cheers,
Huub

British and Japanses portovers

The BAe Bac 1-11 and Hawker Siddely Trident are my favourites from Dave Maltby (www.dmflightsim.co.uk). The VC textures are very nice... No tweaking necessary to make them work in FSX (only the usual: thumbnails, smoke effect position, camera definitions....)

The FS9 Mitsubishi F-2A by Team FS KBT is a must... Works quite well in FSX (www.flightinfo.jp/FS_KBT/).

Sometimes FS9 portovers have better framerates than native FSX aircraft. The Iris F16 has very poor FPS due to heavy PFD/MFD system... So I swapped the F-2A FS9 gauges (FS9 freeware) into the Iris F-16 (FSX payware), and now it's much better!
What is the opposite of portover? portback? downgrade?
