5. Not really sure yet, but I'm confident that the new Carenado Cessna 185 (when released) will quickly fill this last gap.

Thanks in advance for sharing, all :ernae:

These are in now particular order, and yes I know there's more than 5.

1. Plane Design Lancaster Series
2. Milton Shupe' X/A-38 Gizzly
3. SectionF8 F-86E/F Sabre
4. RealAir Spitfire (FS9)
5. Default Douglas DC-3 (always a favorite of mine)
6. A2A Spitfire
7. SkyUnlimited Hawker Hurricane
8. GMAX Koolhoven F.K.58 (Sweet Ride)

Very hard to list just 5 aircraft, but here are the 5 I fly most in GW3.

1. Bill Lyon's Piper Cub. A favorite go everywhere plane.
2. Default DC3. I know the MAAM DC3 looks better, but I like the fuctional VC more than looks. In my sisters fav paint.
3. Bill Lyon's S43. Land or sea.
4. WOP B17. For long range flying.
5. Bill Lionheart's Bucker Bestmann. Difficult to land, but a great GA plane.

Based on the amount of time I spend in the air with these birds, I would have to say that these are my top five:

1) Brian Gladden's PA-22 Pacer, Tri-Pacer and Super Pacer
2) Brian Gladden's Cessna 120/140
3) John Woodward's Beaver with wheels and floats
4) J. E. Narcizo's PA-18 Super Cub Tundra Wheeled version
5) Alphasim's freeware C-130

OBIO

It's pretty hard to pick out just five and my top five varies according to my mood sometimes. A few of them stand out however:
1: FlightOne Cessna 441 Conquest - I had been meaning to get this for several years now; got it for myself as a Christmas present. Wife still upset at me for getting it hehe.
2: Default MS Lockheed Vega - amazing what a fresh coat of paint does--along with a tweaked aircraft cfg, revised sound, and panel.
3: Munch Bros Rotorway Exec. Three words: Best. Helicopter. Ever. For FS9 (Okay that's five words but you get my drift)
4: Iris/DSB BAe Hawk 200 - the realization of a childhood dream-I know most kids my age dreamt of flying F-16s but I took one look at this back in the late 80's and fell in love.
5: LilSki's Aeronca Champ - best 'low n slow' bird around. Champ Camp Forever!!!:ernae:
Yeah I know there are a couple of kerosene burners there but they are fun (especially the Conquest :))

This is great, and exactly what I hoped for. :) All kinda diverse and great responses. Please folks, keep posting your top 5 or however many you wish to post, and throw screenshots in if ya want to. :ernae:

EDIT: And Doc Zook, that Hawk is one of my favorites, too. You're not crazy, it's just a good lookin' little jet. :d

3) PMDG Beech 1900C
4) Carenado FS9 185 (when it's out)

there is a beautiful falcon 50 by yannick lavigne , fred banting and rob young that was made for FS2002 and has been updated for FS2004 .
the FS2002 file is available at flightsim ( file fal50c1.zip ) but unfortunately , i completely forgot where to find the fully updated version for FS2004 ( if anyone knows where to get it please ) . even an older model , it is payware quality .

Premaircraft has a pretty good Falcon 7x; as for payware quality LSAs I would have to go with either Bill Lyons' Cub or LilSki's Champ--both of them qualify as LSAs (but then again I think a Fokker E.III Eindecker also qualifies under the FAA's rules):kilroy:

As for the falcon 50 Link here's one

This I think is for FS2004

One of my faves for FS is the Bucker Jungmann Bu-131.

This is the Bu-131 with my special Betty Boop racer package paint scheme.

Forgive the plugging, not meant as such. I am really enjoying testing this beauty. Fun to fly. Far from done, but really fun.

Unless you have X3 Terran Conflict (game and sim), you cannot know how fun it is. This is the Nemesis lite corvette class. Great for patrols and anti-piracy runs.

From the same game, this is the Heavy Nemesis, made by the Piranese race, this dang thing is awesome with recoling plasma cannons, you can nearly take out a high performance Elite fighter in one blast of her eight cannons. Great for small cargo runs as well...

huuu :jump: the last 2 screenies are simply GREAT lionheart. One of another favorite of mine is a "Klingon Bird of Prey" :icon_lol: Change the "flightdynamics" with one of a Harrier and this one is "a dream to fly" :applause:

Assuming we are limiting ourselves to FS9, then in no particular order:

  • RealAir Spitfire
  • RealAir Scout
  • A2A P-47 Thunderbolt
  • Digital Aviation Dornier 27
  • Long Island Classics Christian Eagle II

Roger that. I'll check it out.

Love the Bird of Prey. Very cool ship. Hopefully it has a nicely done, red engine trail..

My apologies for going awol on the thread subject. The Victory is presently FSX (until I can get a FS9 compiler working that will compile proper high rez models for FS9), and the other two were X3..
