Zoom

I can't remember if it was the same with MSFS2020 but in MSFS2024 i have been struggling with the cockpit zoom function from the beginning. I got *some* zoom with my mouse scroll wheel but not nearly enough and even that's gone now too. External zoom has always been fine and still is. Just now i finally found why i never could get any sort of cockpit zoom back. What a relief it is to finally get to see what i'm doing with my instruments again !! (NEVER a problem with ANY FS version before Asobo got its dirty hands on it (nah... i love Asobo (i think..;-))

So, for anyone struggling with the cockpit zoom function as well : the trick is to set the Zoom Function in General/Camera to Manual NOT Focus !

And than to think that this simple setting has cost me hours of aggrevation.... Oh well, i'm so glad i have my zoom back i already forgat about it...( i think...;-)

I changed from using a mouse to a touchpad. You can get them a LOT cheaper than the one I bought from Amazon, but this one is high quality and works outstanding. No need for a mouse pad. Took me a little while to become proficient with it, but would never go back to a regular mouse, wired or wireless. NC
