FSX Screenshots Here!!

Willy, if you plan to spend any more time at "Fantasy of Flight", you really need to install this scenery (an insanely accurate recreation of the real airfield/attraction/museum, done by our own Dimus): http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?linkid=13535&catid=113

Thanks John, Fantasy of Flight was just stopping by to see how different it is in FSX vs FS9. But I downloaded the scenery and will install it when I get home. I pass through central Florida quite often when heading south to the Keys or the Caribbean.

I've done several "walkabout" flights in FS9 and this is my first one in FSX.

Yeah - scaring some amateur pilots in a sleepy hicksville early in the morning :biggrin-new:

Thank you, Chipchop!

Hey Manschy:wavey:

I remember reading or seeing an account from US military C-130 pilots on an exchange or combined training exercise with the RAF here in the UK a while back now; and they were quoted as saying that, 'they thought that the RAF had a completely different type of C-130 to the US version, due to the way the RAF pilots handled the Hercules, particularly in NOE (Nape Of the Earth) flying techniques; seemingly throwing them about the sky like a light aircraft!'

In fact I regularly see/hear them flying at low level, near me in the South West of England.
Cheers for now,
ChipShop

Wrong?? How so? I'm just curious.

There's nothing like flying an engine with wings stuck onto it. Just don't forget that it bites very easily. But once you get it figured out, it's a ton of fun to fly. And the Alabeo Z is about the best representation of the Z that I've ever flown in any version of FS. IMHO, they got it very close to exactly right for a modern replica of the Z. A few differences from the original 1931 Z, but almost spot on for the one owned by Kermit Weeks.

Hey, chaps - almost an idea for a new subtopic in "Screenshots"? :biggrin-new: Don't scrap your valuable birds, mates....

How Low Can You Go?

Hi Manschy,
Yep, I can see the thinking there mate;
LoLEx flying, wheels up and no messing, just don't tell the C/o or the CAA! LoL👍😄

Dave,

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think this must be one of the ugliest aircraft I have ever seen :biggrin-new:

Cheers,
Huub
