I finally got off my backside and bought the Cera Sim UH-60L this past weekend. I've always been impressed by it's visual appearance and the moderately articulated systems depth, and it's sounds are pretty much spot on (this I know from my time refueling many of the real UH-60's many moons ago). I have to admit, I am not one that really gravitates towards rotorcraft and generally, I feel awkward and raw skilled flying one in FSX/P3D. I did log a very short amount of time in a real R22 some time ago and even though the instructor (who is a close friend of mine) stated that I was a "Natural" in picking up on how to handle a chopper, I was still unimpressed and I dare say a bit unnerved at what could go wrong with one. As such, I am not a huge FSX/P3D Helicopter guy. Most of my chopper models stay in the hangar with almost zero use except on a rare blue moon but I decided to make the jump on this model. Overall, I am okay with it but I did feel the need to beat a few of the dents out of the Cyclic and Collective Pitch Authority/Sensitivity to better suit my liking. To me, the two most glaring issues with the FDE is the lack of control authority in the Cyclic and Collective, especially if you dump the collective, it just hangs there like it's hung on a cable when in fact, it should drop like a rock! Oh, I also learned very quickly to NOT ATTEMPT AN AUTO-ROTATION!!! I think Cera Sim could have better tuned this model on a number of areas but that's only my opinion. Anyhow, here is the video:
