Meteor F Mk 8 VZ467 'Winston' of 1 TWU RAF Brawdy. My dad helped to keep this aircraft airworthy when he was stationed at RAF Brawdy. It was one of the last two remaining in RAF service at that point.

The beach under the aircraft is where I proposed to my wife, although I couldn't afford a flypast for the occasion!

hahahahahaha:biggrin-new: Looks great Martyn;)
Once a year, the local gun club near a pub I ran in Berkshire used to arrange a 'Posh bash' for their annual do. This often turned out to be the Red Arrows and we were close enough (a couple of miles) to be in the display path. One year, this coincided with the wifes birthday and despite my best efforts, no one believed that I'd organised it for her:very_drunk:

I proposed to my wife in between main course and dessert. The only thing flying past was the waiter clearing the dishes. I had to repeat it 5 times... nice to see the Meteor up and about.
