Beautiful !
You could make that an L-049 just the same, Happy. Boston, Logan 1958. Serial N90816. No worries about the paint around the back.

Hi, Agree with Jan, also note the MATS did get some short-nosed C-121 in the beginning.

Hi Jan,Planning indeed to do some more KLM schemes, even L-749 ones. However taking a small brake to do some more easier liveries.

...Already downloaded, and getting ready to give it a spin over NL2000.
I could do that one as well. I fixed the paint at the rear and added the S to Airline. Couple of other little items to fix and it will be ready to upload. Problem with a lot of these old photos is reading the registration numbers and aircraft names on the nose.
and I agree too, so Jan, no need to head for the roof!

Cold hmm? So let's paint something for that as well:
Phoenix 6, a US Navy RV7-1 Super Constellation with BuNo 131624, that was used to supply the US base on Antarctica. It flew with VX-6 and was stationed at RNZAF base Wigram, New Zealand and would fly annually to McMurdo Sound, Antactica between 1958 and 1971, when she was retired. It was scrapped in 1977.

Absolutely! In case of N90816 here's another photo showing no sign of a name underneath the cockpit windows or at the entrance door:

Above the reg number on the vert.stab is the code number 560.
Awesome job, Happy! Looking very smart !![]()
