MV22B Rel1.0 released

The fold and stow feature is brilliant.

I think the biggest problem are the reload jerks in sim.

I've change the settings for unrealistic
max_stretch = 2.0 to 3.0
rated_load = 10000 to 15000
ultimate_load = 25000 to 35000

but the rope tears every time the simulator
jerks when reloading the scenery.
The rope breaks very quickly,
so it's important, to set the adjustments for scenery not to high.

Cheers

Thanks a lot! I'll keep on trying, but I see the problem at exactly the same events. Is the same with helos.
Any experience on max speed with sling loads?

Thank you Kalong, Rob and all those supporting you and also for your very generous gift to the FlightSimm community! Worked just fine for me in Steam first time and even better when I read the manual properly.

Tried out refuelling with a couple of buddies last night and enjoyed excellent frame rates and the Osprey's very easy to handle.

All we need now is an AI KC-130J AAR... Anybody know of one?

very impressed with this model. the vstol gauge is impressive.

spent few hrs modifying the vc textures (mainly the night lighting for now). i'll upload here soon.

i'm not able to find the needles for the altimeter and a a/s indicator yet, any ideas?

some preview shots, click to see in full size.

If you have the Razbam AV-8B harrier there is KC-130 in the package.

I also have the payware Raz Harrier, but there was a FS2k2 KC130 Heli-Tanker. Search on Hovercontrol.com for it. You will need to swap out the airfile as it's configured for rotary refueling (ie slow). The 22 just got certified for the KC-10.

I've got to say that this is one of the nicest aircraft around. I was skeptical at first, but after downloading, installing and numerous flights I just can't get enough.

Kudos to Kalong, Rob and everyone else listed in the readme credits. Truly worthy of a healthy donation if you haven't done so.

In reading the various forums it seems that there are several repaints in the works along with the VC night lighting improvements mentioned by kdfw. It just keeps getting better and better.

Cheers, and thanks again. :encouragement:

According to the video the a/c will do 360 kts

fastest I've gotten it up to is 260

that was pretty low level though

nope, max true airspeed are 300 kts according real manual I have. if I not remember airspeed 360 kts are max aerodynamic and structural aircraft, beyond 360 kts aircraft will brake apart.
airspeed display on PFD are indicated airspeed, not yet a true airspeed or even calibrated airspeed (KCAS) that manual refer to. use indicated airspeed seem not good, but I have no other option to use indicated airspeed, because indicated airspeed was the only one connected/available for Autopilot.
