There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Beautiful work, Henrik!

Can anyone confirm if any models in these packages are compiled using the FS9 SDK, rather than FSX or P3D? If so, which one(s)?
Is there a way to automatically check a load of compiled files for FS9, FSX or P3D?
Many thanks.
This application (recursively) reads a directory containing SimObjects for FSX or P3D, extracts the thumbnails from the livery folders and builds a simple HTML-Report containing a table with the thumbnails and selected data from the object's description.
Recursively: the Thumbnail Exporter will scan all subfolders in this directory, and their subfolders, and so on, and checks if an aircraft.cfg or sim.cfg is present

Thx for the update. Dose it work in P3Dv4?
If I wanted to add objects or cargo to your ships\rig, how could I make that happen..?
Many thanks for the monumental work done with your vessels..!..![]()
Great to see a few more Norwegian ships! I was going to ask for the SB90N
KS Norge also has a interesting past as both a prewar yacht and wartime service as the escort ship HMS Philante
If what you mean is to add loose objects to be hoisted by a helicopter you first need to choose a model with harddeck. Most of the navy ships have it, but the freighters only have it if they have an H marked on a hatch or directly on the deck. A few of the offshore supply ships have the full deck as hard deck.
Just a non moving object to start with.
Thanks...
You would need to decompile the MDL and open it with e.g. GMAX and then add what you want and compile again...
Shipwrecks are eerily beautiful and would make exploring the coasts of the planet a lot more fun, but I figure it's too much of a niche to warrant the development effort.
But there's still the photos of the real ones:
