the ultimate bf109 in north africa is the G-4 or G-2? before of Second Battle of El Alamein

first spitfire that operated in Africa was the MkII?
somebody knows some web or information envelope that amount of each model has the Air Force of Rommel?
:help:

The Bf-109e series, f series, and early g series were used in North Africa before the 2nd battle of El Alamein.

As far as Spitfires, I'm not sure about the Mk. II. The Mk. V seems to be the standard-bearer for North Africa.

For CFS2 aircraft....Paul Rebuffat's 109s and Bruno's Spitfire Mk. V series are the way to go.

And yes, I'm sure they have breaking parts.

Yeah I have this exelent colection!

There were two Spitfire Is in North Africa. They were originally sent to the Turks in 1940 but ended up back in the RAF. These were only used by second-line units in the Nile Delta.

Spit Vs were the first of the type to properly enter service in Africa and the Med

Any service in 1941?,I sink that the spitfire mkV no is inmediatly in first time spring! there are Bf109E to service with rommel´s airforce.at the beginning of the campaign
in North Africa

I'd say that first Spitfire V's were available in North Africa in the Summer of 1942. Before that, Hurricanes and P-40's were the main RAF fighters.
