I've finally gotten around to finishing and uploading this repaint for the FlyingIron Spitfire Mk.IX. It depicts the restored Spitfire Mk.XVIe TE184 as it looked in 2013, when painted in the color scheme of Spitfire Mk.IXe TB539, coded B-K, which was the personal mount of RAF No 324 Wing Commander Brian Kingkombe DSO, DFC, during the Occupation of Zeltweg, Austria, circa 1945. Kingcome, who became an ace during the war, served with No 92 Squadron during the Battle of Britain, which he took command of in early 1941. Kingcome would later serve in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and over Yugoslavia with RAF, RCAF and South African Air Force Spitfire and heavy bomber units. https://flightsim.to/file/27706/spitfire-mk-xvi-te184-2013

With this one, I took a suggestion by Marcel to add detail of the side door and hinge into the textures and normal map. Now when that door is closed, you can still see that there is a door there. I've also slightly updated my PBR formula/recipe for this one. I'll be updating all of my previous Spitfire repaints with these changes, as well as some other minor corrections where needed on my past work.

I bought them both. Four Seasons installer thingy doesn't seem to do anything...

Islands/Huts/Boats readme says to just manually install ONE season in the community folder. Did that plus installed 'Bijan - Islands and Boats' folder and 'Bijan - Model Assets' folder in Community folder as well.

Loaded all my scuba diving gear in my Widgeon and off we went to Bora Bora where we found all huts under water and no boats to see.... Don't know about the trees and/or bushes ( i choose season Early Spring - Late Summer) but it does seem like non of the Bijan stuff shows up i.e. is not properly installed.

How *does* one properly install this stuff in the first place ??....

What I did: 1. The new installer did not seem to work at all.2. Extracted the Bijan download to it's own folder and named it Bijan Seasons. I moved this folder to my primary Flight Sim folder. (not Community) 3. From my Bijan Seasons folder, I copied specific folders (ie Bijan models, specific seasons ) and pasted into my community folder. This worked. Huts, boats, island textures appeared, seasons and trees. Can be found using POI and entering Bijan for the search.

Thank you, dvj ! Actually i kinda did the same but nothing showed up. However it may have been the rolling cache that got in the way. I read in Bijan's FAQ that clearing the cache might do the trick if nothing shows up. So i did that but at the same time followed your great tip about POI and Bijan. Amazing! Didn't know about that feature, and it works fine too ! Thanks a lot there, dvj ! :encouragement:

So, yes, i think i have everything available now. Truly fantastic !

A little gift on the side i am not too happy about: everytime i want to try another Dijan goodie and hit the Return to Main Menu button MSFS closes up the joint and i am returned to my Desktop instead. No last round...

Anyway, glad it works in the first place, i might find a solution for the CTD's. And since we're in the Screenshot forum here's a few to show my appreciation for your help. Thanks again ! :cool:

For what it's worth, here is the "official" way of installing Bijan's products


Glad to see you got it sorted, Javis. If you are a big VFR flyer, Bijan's packs along with the We Love VFR packs and Global AI Ship Traffic from Flightsim.to are all must haves.

So that I'm still on topic, here's a random screenshot
