Hi Folks,
Just uploaded the CFS2 version of the Mitsubishi Ki-1-II medium Japanese bomber. Ugly..yes, underpowered...yes, but significant as the first mass produced bomber by Japan in the mid to late '30's. Used in the Sino-Japanese and Manchukuo conflicts, and as a trainer in the early war years.

The model is almost perfect...

...but the DP has one big problem. The Ki-1 was armed with only three 7.7 mm machine guns and has no 20 mm cannon.

Pepe, why don't you STFU and check before you whine on about a petty nothing...

The DP is based on your DP which you uploaded here with the Ki-1 on the 5th March...why is there a 'big problem' now, when you did exactly the same thing?

Over the years you have consistantly bleated on about the 'fantastic' and 'great' projects that you're doing, and yet there are always issues with them. For example the converted Welker's Ar234C model still has remnants of the model underneath the ac (in your upload pic). The AC.cfg of the Ki-1 you uploaded is faulted, as you have the incorrect UC height, which means it drops to the ground when you go to fly the ac. Most of your projects have faults and issues, but I don't say anything, and certainly not in a public forum.

I have never said nor believe that my projects are perfect. I want to know or be told of things which are a problem or are incorrect. If I saw issues, I would show respect to a fellow SOH-er, and tell them privately, I expect the same back.

How stupid and petty do you look now, bothering to mention and imply that it's a 'big problem', over such a small issue as to what type of weapon is used...and one which you did yourself....dohhh!

The first time I flew a combat online on a CFS1 site I used a D.550 made all official Dewoitine's measures and near to reality performance. The guy used a superior aircraft to shot me after a 15 minutes combat. Chatting after the combat, he asked me what I'm flying. I told him and, after that, he told me he told he used a Spitfire 9 with a 4,000 HP engine with six 40 mm cannons to shoot down a D.550 with six 7.5 mm machine guns and motorized by a 1.050 hp Hispano Suiza 12Y45. Obviously, I felt cheated. Since them I tried to get faithful planes. Sometime I succeed, sometimes not. I really respect the efforts of the 1% Group and I'm always looking for ways to enhance my aircraft reality levels. I know my limits. I can do only useful airfiles and DP's, some good, some bad. I never said I have great skills at models and on painting skins. I use only softwares like DOS Mdlc 2.0 to get my models. That's why I'm always asking for help.

Last but not least: I really love your models. I think you're a master, but, for you, airfiles and DP's are secondary. For you, the most important thing is the visual detail. For me, its the flying model. We have different visions and I respect it. Peace!

By the way: the plane I uploaded HAS 7.7 mm instead of a 20 mm cannon. I attached the DP.

Nothing about 'peace', it's about respect and appropriate comments. I appreciate you're mother tongue is Portuguese, but you still understand how to write things appropriately, or not, and your English is very good, so you know how to express yourself well enough.

First , Shessi, Thank you for another great plane to add to my CBI theater. I do love , and admire, your work , commitment and attention to detail.

Pepe, there is a rule in personnel management that states "Praise in public, criticize in private". That was a rule I lived by when managing my personnel and violated it once in a fit of rage and regret it to this day as the person who became the object of my violation happened to be a good worker and person. My second rule was always be nice to people while on the way up, you may need them on the way down.:untroubled:

So remember that and keep that in mind when drawing attention to a problem. That is what PM's are for.

Thanks for the comments guys. I know it won't be top of your list for flying (it's not mine either lol!), but if you want to do any missions/campaigns in that inter-war period in the Far East (do people in the US say the Far West??!), then maybe.
