This are good news about the beauty. A 450 HP Pratt & Whitney R-985 and WWise. Looks and sounds great.

I am about to update textures for the LN-FTX (got some more pictures of the real FTX, which was very helpful). I miss the option of smoke on the PT 17 model

Congratulations! I don't have it but the model seems great. Undoubtedly, a good debut for GAS in MSFS! Cool :applause: !

The smoke option is in the cockpits of the "civilian" liveried versions and all the textures are interchangeable.

smoke does not work via switch in vc?
is this right or do i miss something?

no big deal,i most want not to use,only zo be clear.

- Smoke are only present in civilian models
- On the right console, you have 3 switchs to select the color and then you should validate it via the switch on the central console

Updated versions of PT-17 LN-FTX and LN-VAR are now available at flightsim.to. Model is changed to "Civil" for both liveries, and smoke option is enabled.

Yes ! But I need to recompile the effect :playful: and denser or longer ... it also means more consumption CPU/GPU :dizzy:
Some also want the possibility to have three colors at the same time ... and I can’t please everyone.

I’ll see what I can do for the Super Stearman and if I can make the effects longer and denser, I think I can make them crush the previous version and thus benefit both addons.
I have some ideas that I test :santahat:

The 3 GAS Stearman models are very nicely done, and I enjoy flying them. It is also nice that the models comes with a good paint kit. The two Norwegian Stearman liveries are copies of real aircraft (the yellow LN-VAR is owned by friends of mine). The real N2S-3 Kaydet LN-VAR is fitted with a 220 hp R-670 Continental engine. It has a wooden propeller (like seen on the GAS PT-13 model). The fire extinguisher placard on left side of the cockpit, is not present on the real LN-VAR. I did not quite succeed in removing the placard :dejection:, but that's not a big deal.
