Buccaneer portover - Beautiful but...

Nice to see the model being upgraded as per the evolving posts on this thread. The Bucc was always a firm favorite for me, it's nice to belt down Loch Ness fast and low, just as I used to see them doing in real life 40+ years ago!

Even though it's flying a bit high here, this is the Bucc in it's element. SOP: take off, retract gear, descend to operating altitude! :)

These commands should work, I have the PMS50 GTN750 and haven't had time to test them myself yet:

**NOTE** Autothrottle is NOT activated!
Right, this is the list I found also. . .however they don't work. I have the free version of the GTN750 but the AP is only available in the pay version and I wouldn't use it enough to warrant a monthly or yearly payment.

There is an alternative to the PMS50 GTN750 Premium - the Buccaneer's creator, The Flying Freja, told me on Monday this week:

"As for the autopilot, I use the Saitek panels, and I gave it the same autopilot we gave the Horten Ho229. I use Spad.Next and so I don't know the keyboard binds."

Such a shame that this conversion got there first! I'd been working on a proper native conversion for some time now (akin to my swordfish), but I never got a reply from the UKMIL team regarding permission to release it.
That’s incredible news. My hope is that UKMIL will grant permission as it’d be lovely to have a conversion with a functioning clickable cockpit.

I was a beta tester and published a review for the original FSX version, so I can help reach out to them if it’ll help.

Also a big fan of the two Flying Stations/BZ versions. That has all manner of custom coding, so I’m guessing it’d be more complex - but I’m sure there’s a way to channel your talent into bringing one of the most iconic Cold War jets into this sim.

Thx again.

Don't give up on that... They might be very busy and your request fell through the cracks..

Hi guys,
I was a member of staff at UKMIL and worked on several aircraft with the Gaffer. Unfortunately, UKMIL has ceased to exist and I have been unable to contact the Gaffer (who was the main developer and owner of UKMIL) through any of my old info. I'm sure he used to be a member here though as UKMIL.

I have to agree with the above comments; after all there is a converted Storch and a native Storch on flightsim.to, and no-one is complaining about that!
It's not so much that people complain, but it is confusing! The native Storch has around 1,000 downloads, which is half as many as the converted one has... It raises questions about things like liveries; will they work on both aircraft? Word of mouth; which one is the "good" download, and how do people know they've got the right one, etc...

Please don't worry though! I have a plan... ;)Coming soon Spey.PNG

to close the wings is simple, just go to the trigre mod and in the systems folder add the lines

[folding_wings]
wing_fold_system_type = 2

and with the Ctrl+I key the wings close
