Flight Réplicas Douglas Dc-4 and B-24 free Released

Excited for this one. I had attempted a quick and dirty portover years ago for MSFS2020 adding comps and normals, but didnt get it finished. She cleans up real well

B-24 and DC-4 have been uploaded to Flightsim.to, but, as it's the first time with them, I don't know when they'll appear.... Big thanks to Jankees for contributing some of his repaints.
Hi Mike

Looking forward to these.... And also the next release we corresponded about.

Based on comments, it looks like the DC-4 isn't working in FS2024. If anyone is having trouble with invisible models just use a script to update the layout file for the package and it should work fine.

Great fun with both of these aircraft in VR in FS2020. Wow these large aircraft certainly have presence when you are "present" inside them.

Thats not easy for those of us with little or no programing knowledge.

Aargh, of all the weekends to have an improv workshop and have to be interacting with real people instead of pretending to fly cool planes!

Thanks to everyone involved!

Very nice :)
The DC-4 works in FS24 once the layout.json has been rebuilt but the B-24 still CTDs in FS24.
They haven't created a flight_model.cfg, just left everything in aircraft.cfg - might be the problem, but I'll stick to FS20 for now as the DC-4 has some blurry text in the cockpit, eg on the engine fire pull-handles.
The DC-4 also has very small fuel tanks - just 190 gallons, should be 1780 gallons - might be a mis-type?
I've edited the flight_model.cfg to fix, will investigate further tomorrow.

The North Star was a separate package for FSX/P3D.
