🤔 Was There Ever An "UnOfficial" SOH Airfield (In the likes of 'Emma Field')❓

Unfortunately the ideal person for a task like this has recently announced his retirement and that would have been Ed Wells (falcon409). A scenery like that would have been right up his ally and he could have probably filled it out with buildings he already had in stock!
Yes, I should have asked this question about 20 years ago.....

If we stick with the more common libraries, we could create the identical field in various sim variants.
I'd be willing to give the FSX version a go.
Just need to jointly agree on the fictional field requirements/characteristics/location etc.
Or start with a known field with that can be improved?

We might not see innovative sceneries including the Ford Tri-Motor Project scenery like that, however, unlike any other sim since then, we can still live in that 'magical time period'.
I think that FS2004 had the most exciting real & fictional sceneries & aircraft that have not been matched.

Didn't FlightSim.com create themselves a Field in Alaska somewhere for their RTWR activities way back when?

Besides... finding someone to create a 'group' Scenery for the 'gang' these days is just like getting someone to do you a Repaint.

Who were the SOH big scenery designers back in the day? Off the top of my head, I can only think of 'Masked Rider'........ 🤔

In our file library Ed @falcon409 has his version of Emma Field. There are a number of posts about the development and history behind creating it. Basically he got tired of it never being released for FSX so he created one.
