• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

A brand new acquisition for me today. The Citation X. First impressions are that this is an excellent model. I must admit that I hadn't realised actually how long these aircraft have been around in the real world. Flies high and fast - like most of it's owners btw!

You might try the Longitude too. It's cheap, and performs well. And unlike the X, you get Garmin glass, so you don't need an advanced degree to get more out of the avionics. I only have two complaints - well, one and a niggle...

The real complaint is that the flashing recognition light effects can be seen inside the cockpit at night. None of the other lights from the same position do that, so just avoid using them.

The niggle is that there's no cabin modeled, so you're restricted to just the cockpit for camera movement.

Sales at Burning Blue... picked up Old Warden and Goodwood.
Just the Sunday afternoon diversion for a bit of mid 20th century hardware.
Good turnout at OW, picked up a couple of mates and off we went.

Impeccable flypast at Goodwood, and what a surprisingly wonderful scenery addition that is. Festival of Speed TV will never be the same.
