Vintage Aircraft at Hahnweide

Allthough, the CR-Software VFR Airfields 1 -3 Packages are not available to buy anylonger.

also, it is a very very very old Scenery Pack... formerly made for FS2002. And so, the Landscape Part is often deleting Meshes and Trees and default autogen around where they need to be set.. and so, there's an airfield but the surroundings are mostly flat and dull... which doesn't make it interesting to fly there.

Maybe I'll post some images later on, to show you what i mean. And how it actually looks in my Sim. As i do have the VFR Airfields 1 Scenery Pack.

EDIT:
Got to admit, that my Addon doesn’t want to install on Win 11 anylonger… so does not work anymore unfortunately… and so i deleted the addon…

Negative. Because it allways allready sais on install: i should enter a Disc 2. to continue the Installment... allthough there is no disc 2 for this addon... only one disc... which is weird...

but it is, what it is... so what, i deleted the addon... and got rid of it. As it is simply unuseable.

The VFR-Airfields series is a real gem among add-ons for Flight Simulator 2004.
The scenery harmonizes wonderfully with my FS2004 installation on Windows 10. No problems with mesh and surroundings.
I bought the entire package (Vol. 1 - Vol. 3) six weeks ago on Amazon, and it installed without any problems whatsoever.
One of my best purchases for FS2004.
To call the scenery unusable is an inadmissible generalization and doesn't reflect reality.
Therefore, I assume you're only speaking for yourself.
See attached some pictures from Hahnweide airfield, the nearby Castle Teck and the surrounding, all from VFR-Airfields Vol.1

The airfield is visible above the castle. If you have trouble recognizing it, that shows how well it is integrated into the surroundings.

I think calling this "unusable" is out of touch with reality.

Very cool that the installation worked with your Computer… infact it doesn’t work on my computer… it allways aborts the Installation and sais i have to insert a Disc 2 which infact simply isn’t available… so yah, it doesn’t work for me…

Btw. tried to send you a PM… that didn’t work either though…

Thanks for the replies guys, but sadly the CR-Software at AMAZON is no longer available. Too bad as I'd liked to have had it. A Google search did not turn up any others.

Be aware gentlemen, powered flying at Hahnweide is only very carefully husbanded/limited and that is for the old timer Fliegertreffen.
A maximum of 15,000 take offs are allowed per year, therefore motorized flights in are not generally possible.

Also, check out this post on this very forum:

Yah me too… unfortunately my addon doesn’t install anymore… so i was hoping to get it through scotty one or the other way… I’ve tried to send him a Personal Message, however it seems that he blocked messaging him. So i can’t do that either… Hopefully he’s willing to share it with us some ways…

I do have,if anyone would like this,an airfield and aircraft lists, plus flight plans for flights into and back out of Hahnweide if you fancy re-creating your own Fliegertreffen.
I have them coming in from Western,Southern and Easter Europe then departing again over the weekend using a total of 64 various AI aircraft.
You will of course have to open the airfield in AFCAD(or similar)and add in the many parking spots around to accommodate all the visiting aircraft.

Do you mean, you have all the VFR Airfield Vol. 1 - Vol.3 Packages? If so, I’d love to get my hands on them.

Sorry Basil,no I don't have those packages.
The Hahnweide I have was done by leuen, see this thread : https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/threads/hahnweide.132234/

I did my own traffic file to suit, it has an AI aircraft list,an airfield list where aircraft will fly to Hahnweide and fly back to afterwards and also
a "traffic bgl" file.

You are most welcome to have and use those if you'd with but will need to download the aircraft or use your own and the adjust the files to suit.

Hopefully he’s willing to share it with us some ways…
There is clear case law regarding the private distribution of payware products.
Even if you believe this only applies to current products and that one shouldn't take it so seriously.
No, payware (paid software) may not generally be distributed without permission, as the purchase grants a right of use, but not ownership of the software. The license terms (EULA) regulate distribution and usually prohibit it. Although the European Court of Justice sought to restrict the distribution of physical copies under certain conditions, this often applies differently to digital goods, as the manufacturer is allowed to control distribution via the so-called "exhaustion principle." It depends heavily on the specific license agreement.
How one interprets this case law is a matter for each individual to decide, but for me, the issue is not up for debate. Sorry.

Here is the relevant excerpt from the VFR-Airfields End User License Agreement:

REPRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION.
You may NOT create any reproductions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or distribute the SOFTWARE PRODUCT for any commercial or other purpose. Furthermore, distribution as a standalone product or as part of the product is prohibited.

RIGHTS UNDER THIS LICENSE.
This EULA grants you the following rights: Installation and Use. As the original purchaser, you may install and use an unlimited number of copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. However, you may only use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on one computer at a time.

Don't worry... i've contacted the addon creator via E-Mail... and haven't got any reply's yet... so still waiting for an answer... If they reply I may get it through them again...

Because i've allready bought it once... allthough the installation on my Windows 11 2H25 is buggy and won't install... i hope they have a patch for it...

You should be prepared for the fact, that this will not be the case, as there has been no patch for Windows 10 and the addon programmers have not responded to attempts to contact them for a long time.
