Classics Hangar Fw190 released!

Hi Rob, it is possible set this gauges for P-47?

Don't know which P-47 you refer to, but No, it's cannot.
Because it uses data on set/available in this specific FS190 model.

Their is a more generic version (which I made for the ME262): file rcbmc-20.zip on avsim. Which will work for most aircraft, provided that model doesn't use the CabinLights switch allready.

I'm back and forth between the P47's and Fw190's :jump:

This gun and cannon effect is way cool.

I don't see tracer effects as mentioned but those sounds, smoke, and muzz flashes are fantastic

I goofed up with the effect file (it refers to a bitmap for the tracer ammo that you probably don't have).

The best way to correct it:
- In the /Effects/ folder, open the file FW190Cannon.fx with Notepad.
- Near the end of the file, there's a line
Texture=Me262Cannon.bmp
- In there, replace Me262 by FW190
- And save the file.

Now you should see the tracers, as in this picture:

Nonetheless, great enhancement Rob, thanks so much for producing this for our bird. You just gotta love how the ammo counter decreases as you fire your guns. :applause:
 
Great Stuff, Rob. Is there a way to get the outside-weapons work too ? I`m only able to fire the nose- and the wingroot-guns.

Just add to the aircraft.cfgs:

light.8 = 1, 1.9, -7.8, -0.5, FW190Cannon,
light.9 = 9, 1.9, 7.8, -0.5, FW190Cannon,

Note though, that there is no seperate control for the outer guns (there's no seperate arm switch, nor ammo counters).
So the left outer gun will fire when the left wingroot gun fires.
Idem for the right wing guns.

On my PC, the performance is not an issue at all, but it might be on others.
What you do notice, is that all the 6 effects don't start at the exact same moment; but that's already a problem with the current 4 guns. (which is caused by the way FS schedules "light" switches).

ABout the missing tracers: the patch is available now on AVSIM; file rcbfw20a.zip.

Im having an issue with the gun gauges, i installed them on the a1 to see if i would like them, and upon loadup, before i arm the guns or even add ammo, the left inside mg is constantly firing, even after i add ammo to the counters and arm the guns and hit the H button i get nothing except the one mg. Help? haha


*EDIT* Nevermind i figured it out. Great addon!!!!

Probably the gauge wasn't installed correctly in the panel.cfg, and your Recognition Light was already ON at aircraft load. Right ? :wave:

What happened was i put the gauges under "window02" instead of vcockpit01 or whatever
Which means (if you want to understand why) that a gauge isn't loaded (== Active) untill you make the 2D Window02 window visible at least once.
This "loading gauges" limitation in FS (don't ask me why MS made that choice) only applies to 2D windows, not VC windows.

as if it couldnt get more real haha, the guns are done so well it was almost like it was part of the original package
