Got asked to fly a load of beef to Nassau for a couple of restaurant owners - seems there's not much ranch land there. In addition to my fee, they arranged for a load of seafood to go back to the states with me, fee to be paid by more restauranteurs. My load arrived way late, but my contact in Nassau want the beef, so I'm on a night flight from Page Field just south of Ft Myers Florida. I'm flying the route "TVFR." That's Tom's Visual Flight Rules - I can see my gauges, so I'm fine! I decided to go without the GPS as primary nav, so I'm waiting for the Nassau VOR to pop into the radios while I maintain a course in the right general direction.

Turns out over a ton of beef makes the 208 a real bear to get climbing. Getting to 12K at only 500 FPM takes a while!

I do hope your mods with the pilot's showing for the Ka7 and Pirat will get released soon. Never liked the fact that they didn't have pilots showing in external view -always looks silly to me! I prefer the all wood Ka2b to the Ka7 in real life -it flies better. Took the son of the chief pilot of the Shuttleworth Collection 'Doc' Bailey for a 100 km cross country flight many years ago in a Ka2b. Flown many Ka7's in real life and the lowered wing version, to make it look like a Ka13.

I'm going to contact the author of the K7 via FS.to to offer him my files for an update. I made the avatars visible also for the internal View (for VR purposes) but adding another simple definition line will eliminate this. Most time went into the exact positioning of the pilots by matching the "translation" values inside the LOD.0 files . I did the same with the freeware Pirat glider.
