I've ended up collecting the odd experimental aircraft.
Is the XF-84H Thunderscreech available for FS2004?
There is a modded version for FSX that I've seen, but a search does not find a FS2004 version.

Thanks
Robin

Wow, that one takes me back to a time long ago. :dizzy:
I *think* it was available for FS5/FS95 or maybe FS98/FS2K??

I'm blanking on who designed it. It was one the more prolific designers from the Y2K era, maybe check that "kitchen sink" download of Alphasim Oldies? I want to say Kaz did a version but I don't think he did?
As far as FS9, I don't think so BUT maybe you could try to find it and convert it up to FS9 standards (minus the VC)?

The other thing about the XF-84, the test pilots hated flying it and it spent most of its time on the ground.

-You couldn't cram enough foam in your helmet to blank-out the vibration and the sound level was painful.
-Imagine the sound output from a TU-95 except you're sitting about six feet away from the source. :dizzy:
-Pilots reported everything from tunnel vision to getting sick due to the vibration, in level cruise flight.
-Republic started out with an idea to build a long-range fighter but it morphed more into a study of "Mach 1 plus" prop tips.

Kazunori Ito did it originally, maybe for FS2002, which leaves us with the updated version for FSX, tweaked by Erwin Welker & Michael Pook.
I'll give a look at that one.

indeed Kazunori Ito created one for FS2002, updated/ported-over to FSX flyable standards by Michael Pook: https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=thunderscreech

original file by Ito is XF84059.zip source: https://forums.simviation.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=49709
