One of the best freeware aircraft ever for FS2004 (in my opinion)

Scotty,

The AVRO by Nigel Richardson is indeed a remarkable model and definitely among the very best of the FS2004 freeware. But declaring something "the best" often doesn't do justice to aother model.

What about the wonderful models Milton Shupe gave us.

Personally I have a weak spot for the models by Manuele Villa. Incredible nice models often with great gadgets (try to navigate the SM.79 Passeggeri). And all painted with Manuele's silk texturing!

The models by Robert Sanderson also have something special for me as well. He introduced some amazing animations in his models. The Hurricane had a moving antenna wire and the pilot had a moving scarf. This shirt of the pilot of this Stearman is moving in the wind.

Just to name a few other extra ordinary freeware models. But I'm sure people will come up with other models, from which I will think "why didn't I mention those models?".

Cheers,
Huub

Definitely enjoying those as well… flown them a lot in the past… and still do.. for example the Grumman Mallard… which is one of my favorites from Milton Shupe.

What Stearman is that? looks fantastic… specially because it looks like a Photoreal paint… is that downloadable on the library here?

Edit: found it… :D

Hello Huub,
you are absolutely right, and that is why I have chosen my words very carefully.
I deliberately didn't write "the best" but rather "one of the best" (perhaps I should have been more specific and said "one of the most visually beautiful") and that is indeed a big difference.
You’ve attributed something to me—surely unintentionally—that isn't the case. I suspect you might not have read my text correctly.
The Freeware Aircraft by Milton Shupe and Team, or Edgar Guinart López of Aeroproyecta, Manfred Jahn, Dave Garwood, Hiroshi Igami TDS, Kirill Konovalov, IRIS, Tim "Piglet" Conrad (where should I stop?) also rank among the best freeware aircraft in my opinion.
Each one is a highlight in its own right, and I hope you’ll agree with me on that point finally.:very_drunk:

Hi Huub,
i suspect there won't be enough space here to showcase photos of all the most beautiful, best, coolest, etc., freeware aircraft.
But I’d be happy to be proven wrong.:D

Just a color test with the "new" GPU. :wiggle:

I'm not up to some your levels but I wanted to see if there's an improvement.

I'm really close to finished tweaking all the color variables and brightness. :dizzy:
