Flying stations buccaneer

I don't think it's been available to purchase for years. My old links to the Flying Stations website just gives a 'Server Not Found' error now.

Since these wonderful products are no longer available for sale and the website is no more, I am tempted to suggest that they are in fact now abandonware. It would be nice if we had permission to upload them here for preservation, but at some point this should be possible even without permission . . .

It is NEVER possible without permission. Copyrights exist for decades and sometimes, even after the creator dies, they can continue for up to 75 years (or more) depending on the type of copyright involved.

Under Canadian law you don't even need to apply for a copyright through 'official' channels. If I create a repaint or a flight sim aircraft from scratch I automatically own the copyright to it because I created it. It's as simple as that.

Echoing what Tako_Kichi said, there are aircraft for which I would give my left arm - the M2M Mirage, FSAddon Avro Anson, the Alpha/Virtavia Sea Venom & so many others - but sadly I have to accept they are beyond my reach. The developers had many reasons (changed circumstances, disputes with vendors etc, just life) and I have to respect that. Hey ho.

concerning the Anson, does this help: https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/threads/avro-anson-simon-smeiman.165780/post-1438990 and to add to that, consider possibly querying, in the event you have not already contacted DSDSimulations @redmill https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/...-avro-anson-released-8-23.165496/post-1407067 ...my 2-cents

not to disappoint, but all Flying Stations Payware are still just that Payware and copyrighted, and can still be obtained for the original advertised sum, by reaching out to Steve, directly; and most certainly cannot be uploaded anywhere (including here at SOH) and/or re-distributed

cheers!

I reached out to Steve and he doesnt have it. I've tried a couple other contacts he gave me but no response yet

Philip Chandler has very graciously given me permission to upload his files that were originlly released on the Flying Stations website. This includes -

Blackburn Buccaneer x2
Fairey Swordfish x2
Fairey Firefly x2
Hawker Sea Fury x2
HMS Ark Royal
HMS Victorious x4
Percival Mew Gull
Westland Wyvern

Please note that this permission does not allow the upload of the EE Canberra and Hawker Sea Hawk models which were created by Steve Beeny, even though they were originally made available through the Flying Stations website.

Please be aware that the Wyvern on Steve's nazca website is the original release from 2008. The file in the resource library here is a later version . . .

that is in fact correct and the said later file in the SOH resource library is what was previously available from @SkippyBing 's BravoZulu blog
