Flew into San Diego this morning. I have flown in an out of Lindbergh Field many many times in the real World over the years. The runway 27 approach is the famous one over Balboa Park and the City hillside. No glideslope just the localiser. Quite a tricky one to master as the City comes up to meet you fast on final!..

No not an airline pilot but a regular Pax on the BA flights into KSAN since the 80's. Through the years its been served by BA 747's, 777's, 787's and now A350's !
