Looking for Spanish Armilla AB scenery

The site Freewarescenery lists a scenery of Armilla LEGA. Unfortunately it has been uploaded to Flightsim.com some several years ago. The link has never been adapted neither. Does anyone still have this scenery in is his system?

Thanks Wolfebee. I have the scenery und reactivated it. But it shows only an Afcad, no buildings. BTW, the package contains some good and usable elements. On the other hand, the lighthouses are practically all misplaced, and the static aircraft look like as they would be from FS98 era.

Consequently, I will now using the FSX AFCAD and complete the airfield with objects from CalClassic's object library. In any case, thanks for your kind support. I hoped that the Flightsim scenery could eventually be more acceptable.

@leuen note that AirHispania SC is specifically designed to complement Ultimate Terrain Europe, and accordingly, is entirely aligned to UTE; Ultimate Terrain Europe or any other geo-accurate package for Spain is therefore an essential prerequisite
 
Sorry, I didn't checked that. I use the Pollença elements for former seaplane base and placed correctly at least all lighthouses in Mallorca.

"That's what I already did before" means I installed the FSX Afcad before you sent the post. The rest concerns FSX, so no need the read them.

if you read the manual, you will find the scenery was originally designed for FS2004 and will function with only minimal incompatibilities in FSX ...jeez:dizzy:

directly from the pdf manual LEGA_X_Info_Low_FSX_EN - page 5:
The scenery was designed for FS9, but from the beginning of the process, we were also thinking in FSX (remember that this scenery is not Native for FSX). There are only small details that must be taken into account when using this scenery in FSX:
> There may be small distortions in some sectors of the runway.
> No transparent o alpha textures were used.
> We have removed all the trees in this FSX version.

ergo, as advertised, indeed FS2004 compatible! hope the above helps! :wavey: cheers!

What we would do without your perspicatity? It indeed works fine. I just have to explain that I normally check FSX files whether they have FS9 compatible BMP textures. That effectively happens for this scenery. But there is an ADEX_ADE_CVX.bgl file which usually dont work in FS9. I must confess that in such cases I don't waiste time to read unnecessary manuals or readmes. This here might one of the very rare and exceptional cases. Anyway, thanks again for support.

Well all this for just adding such a- small aircraft, obvisouly once based at Armilla AB!

As I now got a suitable airfield, I have to search for adequate retro aircraft and eventually could complete AI traffic. Until 1972 Armilla was the civilian airport of Granada and then replaced by Granada Jaén LEGR.

Seems like i am missing an afcad or something… i don’t have any ground poly in that scenery and the runway is weird as well…

Does anybody know what i am doing wrong there???

also, the Readme sais: "The scenery has two versions: basic or "low detail" and a complete or "high detail”

Where’s the high detail then? i can onyl find a low detail… also i cannot find any FS9 afcad that adds the ground poly… so does anybody know where that is to be found?

Or does anybody have the FS9 scenery as the one i have here, seems to be the FSX version…

with respect to your question, refer to page 2 of the pdf manual in particular referring to the Ground VTPP scenery file in the folder Sin no tienes RealSpain instalado
If you don’t have installed in your system the “Real Spain Andalucia” by Jose Antonio Romero, you must to add the files inside this folder into your Armilla LEGA X Low Detail\Scenery folder to have a nice “desert” texture in the base area.

Also per the manual check that you do not have any AirHispania LEGA Armilla scenery files active including any AFCADs for LEGA, besides the one included in Armilla Lega X

finally, if nothing works I'd also try copying the contents of Para RealSpain Andalucia folder into either the Armilla_Lega_X_Low_Detail texture folder or into the scenery>world>texture folder but in any case, make sure to follow all the included instructions in the manual

Thanks for the hints... I've allready considdered all those steps and installed all according to the readme...
but the scenery allways ended up the same as in my added shots above... nothing changed...

also i don't have any of the airhispania scenery files installed... i simply added the LEGA X Scenery to a complete fresh FS9 install... which has nothing else but the default FS9...

so thats why i asked for help in here... because i considdered all your added steps but it remained the same...

next step i would considder is to add the airhispania scenery and the LEGA x scenery ontop... and see if that helps... allthough i doubt that...
I did now install the Realspain Andalucia as well... but it still remains weird... with the runway incompatibility... and it still seems like there's an afcad missing as it still does not have a Ground poly availability...

Any other ideas? Should i actually have the Airhispania Scenery installed, eventhough the readme sais that this shouldn’t be the case??

so after a bit of trial and error, I managed the following with only the Aerodromes package and the update from AirHispania installed

so as a first, leave the original Ground VTPP that is in the LEGA X scenery folder as is (or if replaced, get a copy from the zip), and copy the textures from the RealSpain Andalucia folder into your LegaX scenery texture folder --> there is nothing much to say about the desert texture --> both the VTPP yield nigh identical results

you need AirHispania scenery installed and you also require any *LEGA bgl scenery files in AirHispania scenery folder to be left as is

make sure you place the LegaX at a higher priority than the AirHispania scenery in your scenery library

finally, I chose to disable the *ADE_CVX.bgl in the LEGA X scenery folder, as that was creating elevation glitches in my setup

so, that ought to be it!

Got'cha! Thanks for the explaination again. Much appreciated! Now working...

allthough I'm not gonna keep it... as you got to have the "granada_LEGR_AFX.bgl" active to let LEGA work... which then adds another afcad to LEGR Airport as well... which then destroy's the Akesoft Granada payware Airport Scenery i have there... so unfortunately it is not useable for me... because i then need to choose either the Airhispania or the Akesoft Granada Airport...

and as a personnal preference I'll go with the Akesoft payware alldaylong... without having LEGA then... but so what...

Btw. i just thought about it, would it be possible to somehow seperate the two afcads LEGA and LEGR in the "granada_LEGR_AFX.bgl" with ADE? and or delete the LEGR Afcad, so that only the LEGA Afcad / Ground Poly Remains?

And would anybody possibly do that for me? As my ADE doesn't seem to work properly anylonger... concerning the Exporting when done.

If that would be possible i then would be able to use the LEGA scenery aside of the Akesoft LEGR.
